Mamma Mia Photos!?!
I went to Old Saybrook again to take Kami's senior photos after I took her sisters about 3 years ago. Their family stays here in this cute beach town neighborhood every summer so it has a lot of meaning for them! The best part is that we get to drive around in a freakin golf cart! Which saves me from walking all over the place.
Kami started the session in a cute trendy orange dress and she absolutely slayed it because she's SO tan and it makes me sad because I will never get to that level of tan. We took some photos on a little beach area with some boats and logs and rocks and then drove around the neighborhood for some other spots she liked. The next outfit was a little more laid back, just some jeans and a cute crotchet top! She also quickly threw on a green shirt and we snuck into a neighbors yard (with complete permission!) and took some photos on a cute tree swing. We quickly rushed back to the house for her to get changed and make it to the BEAUTIFUL sunset on Cornfield Point beach. (One thing I really love about Connecticut beaches is how quaint and peaceful they are) I quickly snapped some photos while the sun went down over the water and I almost fell off the jetty with my camera (suuuuper embarrassing, very glad I didn't)
Kami said to me that she would be down to go in the water once we were done and I was ALL for it. So we took a few more photos at the edge of the water and then I told her to just run in and go for it! It was SOO beautiful and it makes me so happy when my clients are courageous enough to do things like that! I didn't suggest that to her, but I will definitely suggest that at other beach sessions in the future.
When I was going through the photos, I realized that the last set of photos in the water was giving... Mamma Mia. And I LOVE Mamma Mia. So if you want a Mamma Mia senior session then pleaseee email me :)
