Las Vegas Vow Renewal Photo session
In November of 2022 I crossed something incredibly cool off of my "didn't know I wanted to do this but so glad I did" list. My clients of a few years, Kyra and Ian, decided that they wanted to renew their vows in Las Vegas a year after their wedding. They asked if I would take the trip out with them and I screamed with joy when I saw the email. We all live in Connecticut and I was honored that they wanted to choose me to capture this for them. I am a MAJOR Elvis fan, so when the email mentioned "Elvis impersonator" safe to say I was more than ecstatic.
The night started at their hotel, Palace Station Casino and Hotel. We took some photos outside while we waited for the limo and then hopped in and started snapping away. Truly this was one of the most fun nights that I have had in my career. We had so much fun testing out different limo photos and then we got dropped off at the Graceland Wedding Chapel, which is the FIRST Elvis wedding chapel. He gave them approval to use the name! The three of us anxiously waited in a little corner taking some more photos, of course. And then the Elvis impersonator walked by and I fangirled so hard. We all giggled because of how eerie it was. We then proceeded into the chapel and "Elvis" did his thing and we were all laughing and smiling and I was snapping away. After the ceremony we took some photos in front of the wedding chapel sign, the little courtyard and the pink Cadillac.
Following the ceremony and chapel photos we got back into the limo and made our way to the Las Vegas Strip. We were dropped off at Caesar's Palace where we took champagne popping photos to start the celebration on the strip. After the champagne, we kept walking and just took photos where our hearts pleased! Some of these locations including an overlook of Paris, a Welcome to Las Vegas sign outside of a merchandise store, the Ferris wheel, the Flamingo emblems, an escalator and so much more...
I'm so so so grateful for this experience and cannot believe that this is where my career that I have built takes me!
