A Friar Filled Wedding
On March 18th, 2023, I had the honor to photograph Emma and Patrick's beautiful wedding in Rhode Island. We all went to school together at Providence College from 2015-2019, so it was a lovely reunion.
The girls got ready at the Hampton Inn and Suites in downtown Providence, RI and the guys got ready at a friends house, and had photos done on PC's campus, specifically at Harkins Hall, Ruane, and the Ruane Friars Development Center.
After getting ready and taking photos outside of the Hampton Inn, we headed to the St. Domenic Chapel at Providence College for the ceremony. Emma and Patrick met through the campus ministry pre orientation program, so this was a very meaningful place for them to get married!
Following the ceremony, we took photos inside the chapel with family, outside of the chapel for bridal party and couple photos, and then headed to Harkins Hall for a few last minute photos.
Cocktail hour was on the rooftop at the Providence G. Although it was mid March, Emma and Patrick ended up having a beautiful sunny day. We took more couple photos during cocktail hour on the top of the roof, with the Biltmore and the Industrial National Bank Tower, also known as the Superman Building in the background.
After cocktail hour we headed downstairs to the Ballroom at the Providence G for the reception. This was a very beautiful and traditional reception starting with the bridal party entrances, first dance, parent dances and speeches by the best man and maid of honor.
