I know it’s hard to make decisions. There’s so much peer pressure swaying your decision. You could have a big wedding, buuuut eloping is always in the back of your mind.

These are 4 signs you should elope.

1. You don’t like being the center of attention.

It’s YOUR day. This day IS all about you. Traditional weddings can be very overstimulating. You get this day with your person for ONE day, so why would you want to spend it being stressed? If you don’t like crowds, there’s your decision.

2. You have a low budget or you would rather save for other expenses.

Usually when you get married you want to buy a house or save for travel, or a family! If the money aspect stresses you out, elopements are much more affordable.

3. You like adventure.

Listen, I’m a full blown DREAMER. Elopements don’t have to be in a courthouse or in your local city hall. You can get married in Mount Rainier, the Dolomites in Italy, literally anywhere your heart desires. Life is short. Do something BADASS. (and take me with you, please!)

4. Lastly, you were never one to follow traditions.

I promise, as much as your family might beg you to have a big wedding, listen to your gut. If it’s telling you to not follow tradition, then DO NOT. I promise the people who truly love you will understand.
