It was a rainy stormy day on December 23rd, 2022...
On Christmas Eve eve as some say, I had the lovely opportunity to drive to Providence, Rhode Island, a place I had the honor to call my home for 4 years. This trip out was for an intimate elopement at City Hall for Meg and Kyle who found me on Pinterest. I got an email about 2 weeks prior from Kyle asking if I was available on this date because they were ready to get married even though they have a big ceremony and reception planned later in the year.
I'm elated that I was available because I absolutely love intimate ceremonies like this. AND the fact that they just wanted to get married sooner was the cherry on top. Love and marriage is incredible!!!!
The day started out with some mingling with the immediate family and officiant they invited. The officiant announced for everyone to take a seat and performed a small ceremony for Meg and Kyle. It was so sweet and charming. I like to give my couple's time to take everything in and talk to family before I rush them into photos. These days become a blur so it's important to take everything in and celebrate! We then took some photos in the room with family and then explored a bit inside of city hall. Since it was raining and cold outside, they wanted to stay inside and thankfully we had a beautiful building to ourselves! Scroll below for the photos :)
